I finally decided to set up a blog so everyone can know how baby Reese is doing. I hope to write at least once a week to keep family and friends updated. Today is mine and Matt's 3 year anniversary! I just can't believe that it has already been that long...it has flown by. This is our first anniversary with our precious Reese. She is so much fun and doing so much better. She has had a rough first 3 months - lots of crying, which is exhausting for ME. It took us a while to figure out WHY she was crying so much - we thought it was her stomach, her teeth, her ears, breast feeding...we just couldn't figure it out. I still don't know why she cried so much, but now she is so much better, thank you Jesus! She is smiling a lot more and seems much more content. She recognizes her mom and dad, and cooing a lot more, putting everything in her mouth, and drooling like crazy. I guess it’s possible for her to be getting teeth! She hasn't laughed yet, but I can tell she is very close. She can turn over from her back to her stomach, but she doesn't like being on her stomach too much. She sleeps on her side, and refuses to sleep on her back - I know that's the "rule", but she refuses to sleep that way. I just can't believe how fast she has grown....these 3 1/2 months have flown by. I don't want her to grow up so fast. We just got back from Ohio. We surprised Grandma Sherry for her 60th birthday. We didn't tell her we were coming and Grandpa Rick set it up perfectly! I think she was shocked. We enjoyed our visit - it was so nice to get OUT of the Texas heat for a few days. It has been 107 degrees here, and in Ohio it was around 85!! We went shopping and just relaxed by playing lots of dominoes. Then we surprised Grandma Sherry again by throwing a huge surprise party for her - I think everyone had a great time. Reese was exhausted, but it was worth it. I was just glad that she did great on the plane rides. She got fussy on the way home, but overall, she was awesome. Thank goodness for pacifiers!! Hopefully she will continue to get better and better. I am so in love with this baby girl. It is crazy how much our lives have changed, but what a blessing it has been! I am not going back to work this fall - I get the privilege to be a stay at home mom...I am so thankful and excited about it. I just love being at home with Reese. God has really blessed us in so many ways
